ARH, an award-winning civil engineering and environmental consulting firm, is seeking a Junior Environmental Scientist (Engineer/Geologist) to join our growing team in either our Tinton Falls or Hammonton office.

The Role: As a Junior Environmental Scientist, you will assist with fundamental tasks related to Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, soil & groundwater sampling, and report preparation. You will work under the guidance of our LSRP Group Manager, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
· Observe remediation and construction activities and monitor conformance with construction documents, remedial work plans, and health and safety plans
· Assist with the coordination and execution of field investigations by collecting and managing samples, soil logging, performing field tests, and collecting and recording field data
· Identify and communicate with supervisor on any problems encountered on project sites and implement solutions to both routine and complex field problems and accurately documents results
· Preparation of reports, data tables, and photographic logs
Requirements:
· Proficiency with MS Office software (Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.), AutoCAD, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Physical Job Qualifications:
· Most field duties are performed on feet
· Willing to conduct field activities in adverse weather conditions
· Ability to carry equipment, as much as 30lbs unassisted
· Ability to push or pull items, bend at the knee, and reach above head
